On Tuesday, 4th February 2025, we at Sri Gururaya Wellness Center came together to celebrate the auspicious festival of Ratha Saptami with devotion and discipline.

This sacred day, dedicated to Lord Surya, is known as the symbolic birthday of the Sun God. It represents the change of season to spring and the gradual increase of sunlight in the days ahead. Traditionally, devotees honor the Sun with prayers, rituals, and Surya Namaskar—the salutation to the life-giving source of energy.

At our center, the celebration began early in the morning, in a calm and vibrant atmosphere filled with positive energy. Together, we performed 108 Surya Namaskar as an offering of gratitude and as a way to align our body, mind, and spirit with the divine solar energy.

The practice was both challenging and uplifting—every sequence of asanas reminding us of the strength, warmth, and vitality that the Sun bestows upon all living beings. With each salutation, we felt a deeper sense of balance, inner peace, and connection with tradition.

It was a truly fulfilling experience, made special by the collective energy of the community. We concluded the session with prayers and heartfelt thanks to Lord Surya for blessing us with health, vitality, and well-being.

As we move forward in this year, may the radiance of the Sun inspire us to live with positivity, discipline, and harmony.

Sri Gururaya Wellness Center continues to celebrate such traditions where wellness meets spirituality, keeping alive our culture while nurturing holistic health.
